Mooli Paratha

A easy and fast recipe which can be made for any meal. A healthy recipe too.

Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 Minutes
Servings : 2

Ingredients :

Wheat Flour - 3 Cups
Raddish / Mooli - 2
Green Chillies - 3
Coriander Leaves- 2 tablespoon
Salt to Taste
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Ghee / Butter - 2 tablespoons

Method :

Grate raddish and green chillies, mix them with all the other ingredients except ghee and make it in to a soft dough. Add water only if necessary as raddish leaves water. Keep the dough aside for 20 minutes. Divide the dough in to 8 equal balls. Roll them  in to round parathas. Heat tawa and cook parathas untill golden brown on both the sides. Smear ghee or butter on top and serve hot with pickle and curd.

  1. Oh nice one ! But we make it in a different way. We grate the raddish, add salt , turmeric powder, fibaly chopped green chillies and coriander and mix it well. As raddish always leave water we leave it aside fr a while and then remove water from it by pressing it hard.
Make seperate dough of only wheat flour , water and little cooking oil and make the stuffed parathas ...

  2. I wanna have a taste of this one. Looks delicious to eat with chicken curry. Yum!

  3. @kiran: Well that is one method, but because we squeeze out the water from the raddish, all the nutrition goes away, so i do it this way so that no vitamins are lost :)
@Jinke: hey u should try this its really sure it will be a good combination to eat with ur chichken too...if you dont understand any indian terms just let me know :)
