Sprouted Chick Pea Paneer Pulao

This has been lying since long in my draft, actually wanted to send this to Priya's Lets Sprout Event, anyways i ll save it for her future events. The combination of spinach, sprouts and paneer gives the pulao a wonderful aroma filled with bunch of nutrients. The spinach i have used is a local filipino one, it looks entirely different from the indian one. Here's the yummy one pot meal, which can be prepared in less than 25 minutes if you have all the ingredients handy !!

Ingredients:

Basmati Rice or Ordinary Rice - 2 cups - cooked
Spinach - 1 small bunch
Chick Peas - 1/2 cup - Sprouted and cooked
Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 100 gms - cubed
Onion - 1 Large
Tomato - 1 Large
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon
Green Chilli - 3
Fennel Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon Stick - 1
Clove - 4
Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt
Oil

Method:

Heat Oil in a thick bottomed pan, add fennel seeds, cinnamon stick and clove, saute them for a minute. Add Chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and saute until the tomato is well cooked, now add chopped spinach and boiled chick peas and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Now add the salt , and cubed panner along with the cooked rice, mix the rice evenly with the veggies and cook further for few more minutes. Serve hot with raita of your choice.

I am sending this recipe to Letz Relishh event hosted by Jay, Kids Delight hosted by Pari and Kids Menu Event hosted by Neha.
